Nowadays when people are their own writers, directors, actors and publicists, it's extremely helpful to have a site like IADB on your side, guiding you through the otherwise confusing process of making a great-looking site!

Yes! Finally! They call it "the web" for a reason, and IADB helped clear out the brush and made a simple roadmap to creating a sleek, professional website. The website looks amazing and I've told all my friends about it.

Many websites for the price of one! I can switch my template whenever I feel like a change. I'm sticking to one for now, but it's pretty impressive. It's definitely worth the peanuts you guys charge for it. Tremendously great job.

Between acting classes, auditions and 14-hour shoots, there's not a lot of time and energy left to give my online presence the effort it deserves. Setting up my site and keeping all my accounts up to date has been ridiculously easy.

I add a video to YouTube, and IADB keeps me updated. I add a track to Soundcloud, and IADB keeps me updated. I get a new credit on IMDb, and IADB keeps me updated. Best tool ever. Thanks for being in my corner!

The interface is very user friendly and set-up was fast as hell. I don't know what the record is, but I build my website in 1:07 min. It got all my projects right and even project's directors. I really couldn't ask for more. I <3 this.

Flexible, professional and easy to use - what else could you ask for! I got this website for my daughter as she is a star on the rise. It's incredible how all of her photos and videos got added so fast. Thank you for saving us a ton of work.

Keep track of your casting directors names, what they said, even what they wore.Actor Dictionary | Selling a TV Show With a Penalty
If you're one of the lucky ones who sell a TV show to a network, often times theyll pay for your pilot script (or pay to have your pilot written if it hasn't already been done so) and that' the end of the road for you. They might even produce your pilot and never air it. I've watched dozens of pilots that have never seen the light of day. To avoid this, high profile producers/writers will demand a penalty in their purchase agreement. This is also referred to as a PUT PILOT. This means that if the pilot doesn't get produced and aired on TV, the network must pay a huge fee to the producer/writer of the show. This can range for low six figures to low seven figures depending on the contract. On rare occasions,a deal may include a series penalty which means if the network doesn't order the show to series, they must pay a penalty. Networks can also use this as a bargaining tool to incentivise the producer/writer to sell the show to them and not one of their competitors. Proven talent like J.J Abrams (LOST, ALIAS) and David E. Kelly (THE PRACTICE, CHICAGO HOPE) usually get this term incorporated into their contract.
